Conductive silver paste is a kind of Industrial coating materials,It is a type of conductive paste and also an electronic paste. It is mainly composed of conductive silver powder, binder, solvent and trace additives to enhance performance. After being printed on the substrate, the conductive silver paste has the ability to conduct electricity and eliminate accumulated static charges. It is usually printed on non-conductive substrates such as plastics, glass, ceramics and cardboard.
Depending on the different stages of the combination process, conductive silver pastes can be classified into polymer conductive silver pastes and sintered conductive silver pastes. The sintered conductive silver paste uses low-melting-point glass powder as the bonding phase and is sintered into a film at temperatures above 500°C. The conductive fillers include not only silver powder with good conductivity, but also copper powder, gold powder, graphite, carbon black (now there are specialized conductive carbon black), carbon fibers, nickel powder, etc.
Conductive silver paste has extensive applications in the electronics industry. For instance, in the solar cell sector, conductive silver paste is used for printing electrodes to enhance conversion efficiency and reduce costs; in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs), conductive silver paste is employed to create conductive patterns, improving the connectivity and reliability of the circuits; in touch screens, conductive silver paste is used as a transparent conductive coating, providing excellent conductivity and touch sensing; in smart wearable devices, conductive silver paste is used to fabricate flexible circuits and sensors; in the field of new energy vehicles, conductive silver paste is used to manufacture the terminal connections and connectors of motors, batteries, and electronic control units.
Overall, conductive silver paste, as an important electronic material, is an indispensable part of modern electronic industry.
