Why not recommend applying it by hand?

The construction techniques of the slurry include the following types: screen printing, dispensing, hole filling, hole filling, spraying, printing, hollow steel plate printing, hole filling, etc.

Today, let's talk about the most commonly used method - screen printing. Thick film circuits are obtained through printing, resulting in a thin coating that enables the circuit to transition from three-dimensional to two-dimensional.

The thickness of the printed film is generally 10-15 micrometers after printing and around 10 micrometers after curing/sintering. The formulation design of ordinary pastes also follows these parameter requirements.

The mesh plates are usually 200 to 500 mesh. After being printed with a screen printing machine, they are left for 3 to 5 minutes. During this time, the paste will flow evenly across the mesh grid due to its own fluidity. This process is called leveling. The printed film layer has basic guarantees for both uniformity and thickness. This provides favorable conditions for subsequent sintering, ensuring that organic substances will volatilize uniformly and completely during sintering, forming a stable and dense film layer that is firmly bonded to the substrate.

However, in actual operation or experiments, due to convenience or lack of necessary conditions, the operators used coating methods such as spraying or brushing to apply the coating. As a result, after sintering, various problems occurred continuously, presenting in various complex states, such as peeling, detachment, poor welding, uneven resistance, and uneven temperature of the heating film, etc.

One of the main reasons for this problem is the application process. In this method, the film layer tends to be relatively thin.Thick in some areas and thin in others, with varying thicknesses. So it is highly not recommended. However, if it is necessary to apply it despite limitations due to conditions, try to apply it as thinly as possible. Use a blade to scrape to make the film layer as uniform as possible and as close as possible to the level of screen printing.
